Pipe cleaner

Today the plumber unblocked the drain. Now I know where all the toilet paper goes - or rather stops going. It is amazing how roots find their way into sewerage pipes.

School lesson

She refused to go to school. So I let her spend the day in the bathroom.

Fly catcher

On hearing the terrified buzz of a trapped fly, I looked and found this little spider preparing to make a meal of it. Please do not kill spiders because they help to control insect pests.

Missed a spot

Seems like not all kernels are equal. No, actually this is what happens when a teenager pays more attention to Facebook than to her meal.

Don't ask

The sign originally read 'Temporary Layout July-Oct', but because of delays, October came and went but the temporary layout remained. At the end of October we were advised that the new bridge has been recheduled for completion at the end of February. To correct the sign someone just blocked out the 'Oct' - brilliant!
