Supper time

Magenta (the dog), Sly, Mince and Blacky.

Ever notice how dogs eat standing and cats eat sitting?

Claws retracted

Norman's granddaughters came to visit. That was so much fun. Now I am tired.

Two cute kittens

We adopted a brother and sister, about 9 weeks old from Cat Care. The tabby boy's name is Gizmo - he is always on top and on the go - while the dark tortoiseshell girl I named Emerald because she is a gentle loving gem with deep green eyes.

Shelly secured

First night at her new home. I adopted her from the local animal shelter. She was so active exploring her new home that I was unable to photograph her without a blurred image until she went to sleep.

I named her Shelly after SSH, the
encrypted connection technology that I use all the time for JSK. The fact that she is 'painted' like a sea shell is pure coincidence.

R.I.P. Holly

Sadly the prognosis after being shot in the spinal chord with an air rifle was a life that was impossible to bear. Holly was attacked by stray tom cats and was a patient at the vets several times in the past. But the inhumanity of man was much worse.
